Brands usually disallow you to sell in the origin country. ie; if you are talking to a US brand, they won't allow you to sell in the US but they would be okay with you if you sell in the UK, Canada, or anywhere else. Learn how you'll do your maths and numbers and talk to the brand to buy higher quantity stock.
Another important factor is to work out on Exclusivity. This is where you beat every competition and stand alone with the brand's product on Amazon.
