This sprinter van was a project that professional van builder Chance Steadman took on. His client had a few design elements that he wanted and hired Chance because he loved the natural materials and his unique style in his previous builds. This Sprinter van looks like a normal cargo van or business work van from the outside, but once you step in it feels like you are in an artsy cabin in the woods. The conversion makes the van fully liveable with a two burner propane stove, a 12 volt compressor chest fridge, 2 deep cycle batteries that total 200 amp hours plus, an inverter to power household electronics, a hanging closet, a portable toilet, and a custom mattress bed. Chance incorporated these in a creative way, for example there was a piece of galvanised metal that acts as a heat guard and backsplash that would clash against the look he was going for, but instead of letting that happen he leaned into it and built a asymmetric frame and border around it to tie it into the rest fo the kitchen. The van also has a mural inside it on the back doors done by a local artist named Kashi. Kashi is a visionary artist and her artwork is quite psychedelic as well as it plays with themes of royalty, and accompanies the organic natural feel of the rest fo the van.
