Today we will begin looking at the familiar story of Gideon. God calls Gideon (a weak and uncertain man) to go out and fight and bring deliverance to His people. The story reminds us of ourselves - so often we are the weak and uncertain; but just as Gideon is assured of the presence and the power of the Lord to do as He has called him, we too can be assured of God's gracious promises to us in doing all that He calls us to do!
