One Year of Owning a house in The Philippines - Iloilo city

Yesterday we celebrated our first full year of owning our own town house in iloilo city, philippines.we never thought we would ever do something like this since its so far away from the uk. After seeing the town house in iloilo city for the first time we instantly new it was the home for us in the city that we both new was the city we would live if we ever bought a home.
We have waited a whole year to be able to finally move in and due to corona virus we was so close but still so far away and just could not move in. We was both disapointed but we still have hopes of maybe still moving in to our new home in the philippines this year.
Living in the philippines half of the year is our aim and we look forward to our semi retirement as soon as we get the keys and make our self at home
