Could Singapore have done more to prevent the spike in COVID-19 cases among foreign workers in dormitories? Ministers Lawrence Wong and Josephine Teo responded to a journalist's question at a news conference on Tuesday (Apr 21). "It's not just a question of cost," Mrs Teo said. "It is that to break the transmission, you really need a whole host of other things to happen - work stoppages, closing shopping areas, preventing people from socialising with one another.
