Prime Time, April 15, 2020 | Vegetable Vendors Now Being Identified According To Religion? Following the rumour mongering, sharing of fake videos on social media and also the mainstream media's attempts to link religion with the spread of coronavirus in India, vegetable vendors allege they face discrimination on the basis of religion. Video clips have emerged in which vegetable vendors are being asked to show their identity proofs and are being harassed if found to be Muslims. In Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr, saffron flags have been planted on vegetable carts. One of the vegetable vendors said that "Hindu Parishad" had placed those flags on carts whose vendors are "Hindu".
