Bright Tie Dye Style Water Color Cards

Bright Tie Dye Style Water Color Cards Water color flower cards using a fun, easy technique with a bright dye dyed look! Keep it loose and unstructured, free and easy, no pressure, just fun!
Supplies-
100% cotton 140lb cold pressed BEE brand paper- 6 x 9"(folded in half)
St Petersburg White Nights Water color paints- these are a highly pigmented semi-moist eastern style water color paint similar to a gansai style
*Specific colors used- Maya Blue, Dioxazine Purple, Chromium Green Oxide, Black Green, Cadmium Yellow Medium
Finetec Metallic water colors- Bright Gold
Water color brushes- Mimik Kolinsky sizes 0, 4, 6, 8
Misc.- water cups, mister spray bottle, paper towels, water color palette, .05 black Micron pen, mechanical pencil, white eraser, heat gun or hair drier
A couple of notes- I didn't draw out my flower design before painting because I wanted to have a loose feel to the flowers but definitely feel free to create a very light rough pencil sketch OR even trace a simple pattern using my original design. Just take a screen shot, resize picture to desired size, print out and then use graphite transfer paper to trace your pattern.
I really just wanted to get some bright pretty colors on to my paper as fast as possible and that pesky drawing step wasn't going to get in my way! LOL!
